SNES Shadowrun

Post88

I’m Back!

With the new layout I’m not sure how to update the link for the adventure log, so Post88 is the title.

I’m been very busy with a side project lately. My savage world’s campaign is drawing to an end so I wanted to go out with a bang. I paper-crafted a massive (in my opinion) amount of terrain.

If you are curious you can see more here: Assaulting the Portal

The terrain is all (mostly) built now, so I no longer need to invest my time into it. That means I can focus on SRR once more. I’m hoping to get back to making multiple weekly updates again.

That means it is time to do a status check. Who is working on what?
Is there anything else which is ready to be merged in? Anything else in progress?

Let me know
Thanks

ive cleaned up the octoboss and turned it into pngs ready to input to the editor – i think the size is good … 3×3 … much smaller and it will look pretty wussy. the images are in a folder on the dropbox props>docks

I tried adding in the octoboss and its looking like its 5×5 still…
Plus its freezing the game when the scene tries to load.
Presumably I did something wrong…
Thoughts?

yeh you add the file version without the @2x – as the prop in the editor

Post88

That’s the one I used. (I assumed the 2x was the larger one)
It showed up as a 5×5 in the editor and for whatever reason the scene froze on load when it was included.
I’m assuming it was just user error on my part… But not sure what I goofed on.

the @1x file – smaller res is the one you input into the editor – it automatically links to the @2x file when in-game.

ive never tried inputting a @2x file as a prop – but im guessing that why its causing errors. delete the prop file – quit out, restart srr and start again.

sorry – to be exact – delete the asset from the editor – or the pb file in the data folder

you should have a flick through that tut i made – https://www.dropbox.com/s/7at0dfu5gnu38xc/props_tutorial_geeked.pdf

whhops yeh the images were twice as big as they should have been – ive put the resized images and the pb files on the dropbox – should be able to copy them straight over… octoboss is working in the editor and looks the perfect size now :D

At least I wasn’t crazy!
I should be able to copy them tonight. (though I have to work late, so I’m not 100% sure)
